The staff were friendly but the food and interior let it down. The quality of our meals did not match what they were charging by a long stretch. One end of the pub had loads of character & charm but the other was bland and unenticing. Shame. Seasonal menu advertised outside but food served didn't even seem homemade...bit misleading.

My first review of this establishment was a very positive one. Menu was great and the food also. However today we were all looking forward to ordering our regular meal a Lasagne. This pub served the best Lasagne I think we've ever tasted. Sadly that's not on the menu. Nor is the curry. In fact we all struggled to decide... More

Went here for a post Christmas meal in a party of 4. we hadn't been since the change of ownership but can say we thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The foods was excellent and the ambience perfect for a cosy country pub. The fish and chips was a mammoth portion and was unlike some places a very light batter. Our party... More

Ate here last Sunday for the first time in a few years. The new management have certainly made significant improvements. Food was very good, well presented, tasty and hot. We will certainly eat here again.

I've been here before several times so was looking forward to a cosy lunch. Tuesday lunchtime and it was pretty empty - a warning sign. Decided to have the Christmas menu - a mistake. The starter was nice and fresh - smoked salmon with salad - delicious. Then the Christmas main course -a disaster. Everything looked tired, old, double-cooked, tasteless.... More

Typical pub fare really. Staff were nice. Food came fairly quickly and was hot and good portion sizes. I think if that is what you are looking for then The Stork is a decent place. My only real gripe would be I ordered 2 scoops of icecream and when it came I sent it straight back. It was so tiny... More

Probably the rudest landlady/barmaid I have ever met and the place needs a complete makeover. The food did look nice that was being brought out but I had no desire to stay and eat
