I have been visiting King Karai for several years now with my family and friends and the welcoming and friendliness of the staff, quality and of the food and service have remained outstanding. My son and his family who visit from the USA always insist on visiting King Karai as they know that they will get a warm welcome and... More

The welcome we received at this restaurant was very warm. The service followed in the same vein and the food was very good too. We were a party of seven and everyone really enjoyed the visit. There was just one little hitch with a main course but this was quickly put right when pointed out leaving the customer more than... More

Always enjoy a karia dish. And one of the best to test a place for quality is the lamb. The lamb dishes at this restaurant are superb. The meat is tender and not stringy or tough like other places. Local to home, and I don't know why we didn't go thee earlier in life. It is wonderful. Staff are very... More

Six of us went for a KK Curry last Friday evening, we met up in a nearby pub and claimed our table in King Karai at 8.00pm. There is nothing more to be said other than the ambience is good, the service is professional, the food is delicious, the drink is flowing and it is all great value. We had,... More

We noticed the King Karai as we approached our hotel for the night, it offers an excellent choice of meals a la carte or early bird special. I ate from the early bird and my wife ate from the a la carte menu. Both meals were well presented and very tasty, staff were extremely attentive and friendly. I couldn't fault... More

Me and my partner visited King Karai in August 2016 for a first time. It was early in the evening and it wasn't very busy. The service was good and we really enjoyed out meal. So we decided to return a couple of weeks ago and we were a bit disappointed. It was in the afternoon and it seemed like... More

Decided to go here tonight instead of ordering a takeaway.. so glad we did! We was greeted by very friendly staff who were so polite & welcoming. The food was great value for money! So tasty, good consistency & decent sized portions & the service was timed perfectly. I got the onion bhaji starter, chicken dopiaza & pilau rice for... More

We always order our Indian takeaways from here. We have never had a bad meal. It's always fresh and piping hot. The staff are really friendly and we would recommend this Indian to anyone wanting to try it. Excellent

Another really good meal tonight. As a family we have dined here many times over the last 15 years. We have always enjoyed the food and the service is always excellent. King Karai has to be one of the best Indian restaurants in Preston.
