We called in for a leisurely morning coffee and chat - but it was just too leisurely. The service was so slow that it quite spoiled our catch-up with rarely seen cousins, and lunch customers were coming in to place their orders. The food may...More

Visited The Baytree with a couple of friends recently, there were 3 members of young staff waiting the tables, it appeared that they may be learning and were all following a script as to what to ask customers, as they all approached our table at...More

I've eaten here before and been quite happy, but my visit with my grandson was a disappointment. He ordered what is basically a breakfast from the children's menu. It arrived minus the baked beans (an essential for many children). I requested some and had to...More

The service was honestly the strangest I have ever encountered. Staff were 'greeting' customers by dropping menus on the table and walking off without saying a word. After we placed our order, we didn't see anyone for at least 10 minutes, before half of what...More

Sorry to hear that you had a bad experience! We had an emergency that day as our son had a motorbike accident so that accounts for the "lack of managemt" I am sure there was a simple misunderstanding with your food and it was rectified...More

Our favourite breakfast cafe was full on the morning we decided to try the Bay tree. We hoped that it may be a new favourite, unfortunately not. The cafe/restaurant is oddly laid out with dark and light rooms, unstable chairs and no real atmosphere. The...More
