Best town centre pub in Tewkesbury, despite being local we hadn't visited until a couple of weeks ago, food is excellent and portion sizes are great value, if you walk beyond the bar there is a large eating area, really friendly/welcoming staff.

Great beer, atmosphere, service, food and prices. This is what a good pub looks like. Only order the large faggots if you are seriously hungry.

Standard town pub, good cheap and tasty food with a good selection of beer. We were in on a Sunday and the pub was quite vibrant with locals and visitors. Good place for a short stop.More

We want to have a quick meal arriving at 6 before going to a concert at 7.30 in the abbey is that going to be feasible?

That should be fine if you get your order in quite quickly to give them time to cook the meal as all food is freshly prepared I believe. The Abbey is just a 5 minute walk from the pub.
