What a wonderful restaurant fantastic food. The lady who owns the restaurant was so very nice. Lovely relaxing music in the background. A great place for a special occasion we went for our 15th wedding Anniversary. Would definitely recommend.

A pleasant, bistro/restaurant with an short but reasonably varied menu. The service is excellent, as was the bread and the celeriac soup. A starter of goose liver (re-named foie gras on the bill) was cooked well (rather than well cooked) and served on brioche with...More

There are good family run restaurants, badly run family run restaurants and those, which are average. Almost inevitably, the well run ones are the ones that go the extra mile to ensure the customer is happy. Having had a recent family lunch for 20 here...More

Friendly, efficient service in an intimate setting. The food was excellent - we especially enjoyed the 'amuse bouche' of a cute little homemade brioche loaf with a coffee cup of delicious mushroom soup. Even the music was great - 60's tracks and not too loud.

16Th Century building with open fire and cosy surroundings and wonderful atmosphere. Food is of high quality and is freshly prepared. Exceptional service given by Shiho originally from Japan. Chef Mat and his wife Shiho bring a unique blend of high quality English and Japanese cuisine to the historic town of Tewkesbury. We offer a private room which seats 16 guests and our lovely beamed restaurant seats 29. Group parties are available also fine dining and business meetings.
