Came here on Easter Monday for some food. Had the empire state burger and my partner had the 5oz steak. We were both incredibly satisfied with the price and quality of the food. Really can't find any faults. Great pub. 5/5

I came here with my girlfriend and her friends and overall I was impressed with The Flying Boat. The food was good, the pub had a nice interior and large beer garden and drinks were a good price. The only downsides were that the service was slow at times and it can be hard to find a seat.

Another great Wetherspoons venue. Great atmosphere - couples, singles reading the paper and having a pint, families etc - all ages. Had a meal with friends and several teenagers who enjoyed their burgers. We were served very quickly. Great price and food done well. Slightly stingy on the chips so I can't give 5 stars. Otherwise all the food was... More

This pub is in a very beautiul old building. The place was almost full when we visited. Service quick and friendly.

I call in earlier today for a steak meal and a pint of green king (£7.15) it never ceases to amaze me how they can do it at these prices, both food and drink were good quality. It's worth the visit just to see the building, it has some soft of preservation/conservation order on it. When you look at the... More

Loved the old Beadles car showroom as a setting for the usual Wetherspoon offering. Good beer at great prices in a lovely setting.

To say I was enthralled and enamoured was an understatement....my stomach grumbled as I stepped through those mysterious doors, my mind a mess, my worries getting the best of me...but a hearty wink and a cheeky smile from the waitress lifted my spirits in an instant!!! I felt like Drogba had scored a goal with seconds on the clock!! I... More

Well what can I say? Beers fine tonight, food fine tonight, service fine tonight.... but... finding a table? Nightmare! Unless I don't know all the facts why reserve every table in the back seating area for a party of less than fifteen people, when people are doing circuits of the pub looking for a table?

Usual inexpensive Weatherspoons. Food is good (love the burritos) and very good value particularly the food plus drink menu combinations. Good ale selection. Gets very crowded. Will definitely go again.

I like this place but I wish it didn't so long to be served. Good beer etc. Food always looks good but the service is so slow.
