We recently met up for Christmas lunch as a group of friends. Upon arrival we were ignored by two receptionists who were deep in conversation so found our way to the restaurant via signs. As we approach the festive season I am sure many people look at reviews before booking Christmas Day Lunch - Well keep looking elsewhere !!! - Unless you want a cross between Butlins & School Dinners !. We ate here last Christmas day and left after the main course. Poor food - frozen mixed Veg - Stuffing like wallpaper paste... More

Dinner if resident served until 9pm. Quality good, starters expensive as are bar snacks. Price varies from £9-£15 and portions are not large - except the steak.

the food was very very nice but very expensive. Had to remind the person who served us that the menu said bread came with the salmon, strange and clinical atmosphere with conferences going all around.

Attended a Christmas Party with a group of friends recently at Oakwood House. You know when you have been looking forward to something and then it comes crashing down around your ears...well this was one of those ocassions for me.
