Lovely Sunday roast at £19 for 2 courses. Yes, agree the wine list was expensive however find it hard to believe some of the bad reviews. We found no fault with the service at all and the bar manager gave us a tour of the...More

We had visited this pub under the previous ownership when it was a classic traditional pub in an interesting Elizabethan building. With the then image and a landlord slightly hostile to children it was christened the "Pickled Trout". Since then it has been sympathetically renovated...More

Sat on the patio outdoors and ate a wonderful three course meal. The crab was fantastic. Service good and a wonderful evening. The restaurant is lovely and the recent refurb really tasteful. Prices were decent for high quality food.

Our waitress was Gemma who was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. When we ordered desserts, our 'birthday girl' order the pistachio tart with pistachio icecream and when it arrived the sauce on the plate spelt 'happy birthday'. What a lovely surprise.

Description
The Tickled Trout, West Farleigh is a modern and stylish pub with 6 boutique hotel rooms and a fabulous fish themed restaurant with an Italian twist. It also features an impressive fresh wine and beer bar where our guests can eat or drink in a relaxed yet sophisticated environment. We are open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Like all our other venues, we pride ourselves on serving delicious wines, ciders and craft ales including those produced by our own winery Hush Heath Estate in nearby Staplehurst. Our beautiful boutique hotel rooms, with their own private entrance, are designed with comfort and luxury in mind and in the summer we open our sun filled deck and terrace 'al fresco' dining area which overlooks the large, landscaped garden, complete with children's play area. An outside bar complements this area and is a fantastic 'go-to' destination and meeting place to gather friends and family together.
