Make sure you book in advance to avoid a long wait as it's so popular & rightly so, had to wait 1 hour for a table but well worth it, plenty of staff to serve a full house & an extensive menu with good quality produce .....recommended

The meals in this restaurant are pretty decent although the menu has gotten smaller over time and there aren't as many choices now as what there used to be but what they do have is good and a decent portion size.

Another Sunday lunch visit and very enjoyable. Always happy with having meals out here for a local place it’s reliable, offers good value and the staff are friendly and helpful. I noticed the menu has changed and I look forward to trying some of the new things on offer, however a visit on Sunday it must be a Roast Beef... More

Went for a treat as I always thought it was expensive. The foods nice- homemade pub grub. Kids meals good value for money. For a family of 3 with drink it was £47. Cakes are a must. Lots of activities provided for toddler. Recommended

Visited Friday 6pm for my adult daughters birthday. What a disappointment! It's a different menu since we last visited and it certainly is not as good as it was. I ordered fajitas and have never been given a big chunk of chicken that I need to chop up before making up the fajitas. My daughter ordered vegetarian curry and after... More

Not been for years so gave it a try. You cannot book so be prepared to wait for a table at busy times. Nice and cosy in waiting area, nice pint of real ale, bout 40 mins wait and had the brisket which was lovely, nice portions and pleasant staff.

My favourite place for afternoon tea; great value for money and such good quality. First you start off with 3 mini savouries - soup, lasagne and prawn cocktail. And then the cake stand arrives! Love how you choose your sandwich rather than getting a selection as Im very fussy. Lots of filling on them and you even get fries too!... More

My first visit to this restaurant. Went with the girls from work for a birthday tea. The staff where lovely, I had prawn cocktail for starters and the brisket for main and lemon meringue for afters. All the food was very nice and beautifully presented. There were quite a lot of people there for a Wednesday night which tells me... More
