Place is small and slightly cramped, sat on the ground floor by the back door, people kept leaving the door open and it was freezing and annoying! Food was pricey but lovely and tasty. All the staff were great.

Just had dinner with my wife here & food has been brilliant as usual, I had the steak with chimichurri sauce which was really good & also had some of my wife's tapas which again were great! Would always recommend this restaurant.

Have now been to this restaurant twice. We recently had a colleagues leaving meal here and we had the set Tapas menu and it was excellent. Service was great too. All of our party enjoyed the evening.

Food poor, service poor, drinks expensive, chef rude and uncaring. One to avoid. First visit to El Toro and last. Everything about this place is not good. I didn't enjoy one aspect of this restaurant.

Firstly I've never been here, went with some girlfriends on a recommendation. . . It's a tiny slim restaurant with a maximum of 20 seats downstairs, it's a bit squishy but this doesn't stop the food being fantastic. . We were greeted by the restaurant owner and you can see into the kitchen which looked clean from what I could... More

The 3 mmain reasons why this restaurant is really disappointing: 1) The chef stands outside the front door all evening smoking. This dooesn't give a great impression of cleanliness or seem inviting! 2) The drinks are really overpriced and they are being very deceptive on their menu by only serving 125ml and 175ml glasses of wine however referring to the... We went here on a Saturday night at 7:00pm after booking the table earlier. It is a small and cosy restaurant with upstairs and downstairs seating. We sat downstairs and we think that was the better seating as my wife commented on the noise from the water pipes upstairs was very loud as she used the toilet. We had two... More

We went to celebrate a family birthday last night. Although the restaurant is not large the atmosphere is great. We were welcomed by the head waitress ,who I think is the proprietress. We were shown to our table, not the best table in the restaurant, but we didn't book til the night before. Explanations of the menu and specials was first... More

We booked the upstairs room for a family 70th birthday and the group (of 28pp) had the Spanish sharing platter. The food was delicious, the selection was excellent adn the dished just kept on coming. The staff couldn't have been more helpful both on the day and also with the planning. Several of the group commented on how tasty the... More
