Hands down the best customer service I have ever experienced. Thank you to the management at the slice of India derby. The manager was nothing more than accommodating to me and my partner when we visited last week. Based on the excellent service I received ... I would absolutely visit again and would recommend to all. Thank you.

Obviously the food isn't going to be top class as it is a buffet but this has got to be the best buffet I have ever visited as the food still manages to taste amazing and somehow fresh. Would definitely recommend as there is many curries to choose from and much more.

This buffet restaurant is THE best curry experience this family has ever had: perfectly cooked food by expert chefs, welcoming and friendly front of house staff, attentive waiting staff and very reasonable prices. This is definitely the 'go to' place for a quiet romantic meal, a family celebration or group booking- by far the most authentic curry experience outside of... More

Had a lovely evening and the food was great but a little spicy. The service was good too. Definitely will be visiting again.

This is a very large venue, formerly a night club, and the food is served as a buffet. Obviously the food is mainly Indian, but there are a few Chinese style options as well, plus a salad bar, pizzas, chicken nuggets and chips, so almost everybody should be able to find something they like. The main omission is some indication... More

Went with a group of 6. Booked in advance as it was Friday night. Taken quickly to table. Waitress came immediately to take our drinks order. Self service food was very varied and of excellent quality. Each time we went for another plate our dirty plates were cleared before we returned for the buffet. A great atmosphere.

Must have been here 100 times or more now. There are so many interesting flavours and excellent choices it is fresh every time. A few highlights- the starters( Fish and paneer tikka particularly ), the incredible stir fry (the bald guy who doesn't smile is best) the veg curries (dhall is amazing) fresh naan breads, (can order different types) all... The only good thing going about the place is the decoration and atmosphere. We thoroughly our experience but it was a lot different little things that was let down. I understand that its not a proper cocktail bar but no espresso martini should have ice in it (only shake with ice to chill and dilute the drink). The floor staff... More

My first visit after threatening to visit for years and I have to say I was very impressed the food was good even though I'd never eaten many before If your looking for your traditional Indian restaurant then don't bother, the dishes are selective ! No chicken tikka masala, Madras or dupiaza are served here, and it is not cheep... More

We visited this restaurant on Saturday evening and we had a lovely meal. We had booked so no need to wait. Service was good. Plenty of dishes to choose from and all freshly cooked. A really good selection for kids or none curry eaters. A really nice atmosphere. We come from Leeds but would definitely visit here again when back... More

Description
Delicious food... That's what we're all about here at Slice of India. We've brought together a fantastic team of chefs who know how Indian food should be cooked. Every dish that is put before you has been carefully selected, tasted and adapted using the finest ingredients. Unlike many buffet restaurants up and down the country we believe quantity should not replace quality and we strive to ensure that every dish we serve can stand alone as a culinary delight in its own right. The beauty of our buffet set up is that while we offer a fine selection of your tried and tested favourites we also offer traditional Indian dishes you haven't tried before. If you don't like it (you will) then try something else. Why play it safe with a Chicken Tikka Masala when your new favourite dish is just waiting to be discovered? We look to couple great food with great service. All our staff our eager to help so if you need anything or would like to know more information about the food or drink on offer just ask and they'll be only too pleased to help. Please take a look around our website where you can meet some of the team, see a selection of the many dishes on offer and get a feel for the Slice of India experience. We hope to see you soon!
