after a hard mornings graft, i fancied something different to eat so thought of the brewey tap. decided to have the chicken ciabatta from the luchtime menu but as im trying (and failing) to be healthy, asked for no fries or bread yet extra salad. not a problem! :) was beautiful and well washed down with a lovely pint of... Pub looks great, quirky and interesting. They serve a superb range of ales and some tasty cider. The best part though is the food. Proper Thai food not just Thai flavoured English food. Loads of options for seafood fiends and plenty to choose from if you don't like it hot. More flavour than you can shake a stick at, prices... More

Came here with work colleagues and used a private function room. I've always enjoyed coming to this bar; the atmosphere is second to none.

A group of us friends regularly go out each month for meal / drinks. We usually pay cash all the time the restaurant wanted a holding card but knew we were paying cash and would not charge the card. Paid cash in full then discover 3 days later after checking my account they had taken £15 from my bank. This... More

I eat at the Tap around once a month and am never disappointed. The food is always to a high standard at very reasonable prices and they have a nice selection of beers and ales for me to choose from depending on what kind of mood I'm in. They also have a great open mic night on the first Sunday... More

Decent selection of beer, nice Thai food and friendly service. Don't be put off by the slightly odd exterior!

A lovely meal shared with friends. We ordered a set meal to share between eleven people. The starters arrived very quickly and there was a wide selection including spring rolls, spare ribs and bang bang prawns. The second course consisted of pad Thai, crispy chilli beef, king prawns with sugar snap peas etc. Some of the dishes were quite spicy... More

I just spent New Year's Eve here and enjoyed a Great Night!! Excellent Food with very good and attentive service. Brilliant party night atmosphere with a DJ and a Live band, both providing perfect entertainment for this special night. They regularly have entertainment nights and, with an excellent selection of real ales and a wide variety of other refreshments, it... More

I stopped here for lunch and to sample Oakham Ales. I ordered the Massamum curry and halves of four different beers (they don't do the typical 5oz flights which is odd). Their flagship JHB is too watery for my taste but the Bishop's Farewell was worth drinking. The problem was the curry which was a bowl of generic beef and... More
