Johann and Vincent are exceptional restauranteurs - when life was normal, we loved visiting their beuatiful venue to enjoy the exquisite cuisine and atmsphere. Now we are in this Covid lockdown, we are getting takeaway whenever possible and everything is equally as magnificent and their...charming demeanor and service remains.More

OK, so Sydney is in lockdown...and local businesses should not be forgotten...Johann and Vincent as well as having an exceptional dine-in French restaurant...in these times of lockdown...maintain a remarkably high take-away standard. Tonite, my wife and I picked up the charcoal grilled sirloin, with home...made fries and salad...as well as the chef's 'secret sauce' We also enjoyed sides of cauliflower au gratin and french onion soup. The meal...eaten at home...was exceptional. To produce this quality of food in a take-home environment is remarkable. Well done Johann, Vincent and chef.More

Like some of the recent reviews, a very disappointing experience. Food was lukewarm, service was non-existent. Had to flag waitress down to order, no drinks brought. First course arrived before we were given our wine, which we had to remind about. Roquefort soufflé without any...Roquefort it seemed, and tepid chicken. $12 for a bowl of cold, soggy fries. We would have complained if there was anyone to tell! Staff seemed to be more interested in having fun amongst themselves. What a shame. Get over to Frenchies in Elanora Heights to see how it’s done.More

We appreciated the venue and the romantic French atmosphere, the tasty and simple food, but we did not like to being taken for a ride... After my friend and I had submitted our credit cards in good faith, I found we had been slugged the...10% surcharge for public holiday on the Saturday preceding the Queens birthday public holiday on the following Monday and being ripped of $27! Who do you trust? Looks like this business is desperate to maximise income in sacrificing its reputation while ripping off its customers! Not a smart move.More

Four of us enjoyed a pleasant evening at this well located restaurant which specialises in high quality steak. The entrees of cheese souffle, scallops and oysters were delicious. However, the main course did not match our previous dinner some six months ago because the meat,...while excellent quality, was served lukewarm. As we were leaving my wife pointed this out to the owner who made an unacceptable excuse. We will not be returning.More

There were 7 in our group on a Saturday night. The restaurant was busy and noisy which was a great atmosphere. My devilled eggs entree was delicious. My duck main course was again delicious but was cold. I had to chase up my side dish...of beans. My cheese was forgotten. My coffee was fabulous. Everyone at our table seemed very happy with their meals. I’d go back.More

Our visit was to celebrate a family birthday. We all agreed all the food was absolutely divine and beautifully presented. The service was very professional. However, the ambience would be improved by using some noise abatement.

We had dinner here on a Wednesday night to celebrate a birthday. Service was very friendly and accommodating, the food was divine and they do BYO for $15 a bottle on Tuesday to Thursday! We ordered the crab thermidor and sourdough with butter to start,...the T-bone for two and the profiteroles for dessert. EVERYTHING was divine and reminiscent of our travels to France. Would definitely come back again!More
