Thank you trip advisor. We walked by McLearys and based on trip advisor ratings decided to have our dinner there. The 4 of us all had steak and it was excellent! Service was top notch! Would definitely eat there again!

A big group of us went here for a 75th birthday. The friendly staff were very accommodating given the size of our group. The food was beautiful (I would highly recommend the goats cheese & red onion starter and the steaks!) as was the setting...More

Was McLeary's restaurant in Waterford City in 1956? If so, was it at the same location at Parade Quay? If the restaurant was not there in 1956, can someone tell me the name of an eatery in the city that year? Thank you, Richie

McLearys has only been around since 2011 when they opened on High Street. The Wine Vault was there before them and that opened in the late 80's I think. Before that, "proper" restaurants were few and far between in Waterford
