Visiting Ireland on a tour when we stopped in Sligo for lunch. Accidentally found this cafe that was busy with locals. The food was excellent and delicious with generous portions. I even got to taste the soup before ordering it. The desert was amazing. Highly...More

Had breakfast there this morning. €7.95 for small Irish breakfast and €9.95 for the larger one. It includes tea, coffee and toast. Much better value than the hotel breakfast which was €13.00. Lots of other choices. And they also do lunch.

Lyons is still one of my favourite cafes in Sligo, fantastic breakfast (I love their scrambled eggs and French toast), outstanding salads and great lunch options with local ingredients and changing with the season, probably one of the best Americanos in town and then the...More

I’ve been eating here for years. They make the most amazing soups and serve them with unusual breads or scones. I’ve trued every soup they’ve made and each one has been exceptional.

In Sligo with family for a few days and after a long drive from Dublin we stumbled upon Lyons. Not easy to satisfy our 3 fussy kids but the food was really excellent and everyone was happy. You could see from the patrons and the...More
