My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time in this traditional pub on our recent visit to Sligo. The decor has remained as it was in years gone by which we love. As it was Saint Patrick's day there was traditional Irish music played by a live band throughout the afternoon. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. This pub... More

Hargadon bar right in the centre of Sligo is a place well worth a visit. There is a good range of drinks as might be expected from an Irish bar. It has also won awards for its dining so I thought I would give it a try. I ordered the goats cheese and beetroot salad followed by the lamb shank.... More

Myself and my girlfreind deided to try the burger night after seeing it on facebook, and we were not dissapointed. We both had the H burger which was really good, juicy and freshly cooked meat and the bun was really good too. My only issue is that neither of us drink alcohol and only had soft drinks so we reckon... More

I think the best lunch I had in 5 months in Ireland. The quality of the food was absolutely incredible and I really have to say one thing: I'm Italian and I tried their pasta with broccoli and almond cream and it was absolutely incredible. In that moment I said:I'm at home. I will put the picture of menu of... More

Just like lonely planet said, you can't leave this charming 1864 pub as the pints are good, but the company is better. The bartender gave us good recommendations on where to go for our trip and talked to us about the town.

What a find in Sligo. A proper traditional Irish pub with great Guinness and an excellent hearty Irish stew

Found this place by accident and it really is a little gem. The bar tender at the front was a little surly but everyone else more than made up for this. We were quite lucky to get a seat as it was quite busy. Would recommend this place.

Most pubs in Ireland look alike from the outside, so you can't tell much about the food until you try it. We headed to Hargadon Bros based on the tripadvisor listing. The inside consists of many small rooms, so it feels intimate and cozy. Old photos line the walls, and there was a small fireplace in our room, which warmed... More
