Whilst staying in The Harlequin recently we dined in the restaurant on one of the evenings. The food and service were very good. My husband had a chicken burger and I had the chicken escalope. Both were delicious. Would definitely recommend.

This is our first visit to the Harlequin Hotel. We were en route to Westport and in need of food. We ate in the foyer area which was beautifully presented and enjoyed the light bite menu. We chose panini and wraps with sides of chips, wedges and salads, all of which were absolutely delicious. The ambience and service were fabulous... More

Enjoyable place to eat provided you have plenty of time. Food and venue good. Plenty parking nearby. Worth a visit. Probably best hotel in Castlebar. Handy alternative to Westport.

We stayed in the hotel for the weekend and ate in the restaurant on the first night. Service was excellent and the food was equally as good.

I especially enjoyed the salads and the seafood chowder with good brown bread. The breakfast buffet is quite good, with a good selection of alternatives. Staff will give you good suggestions if you need help deciding. Convenient open times.

Stopped in for a snack in the early afternoon. Both decided on the soup options. The chowder was very thick with loads of fish and potato but a bit lacking in liquid. The vegetable soup was full of veg and was more like it should be. The brown bread was interesting with raisins. The staff were smart and attentive. It... More

We stayed at the Harlequin for 4 days, since it was close to the hospital where my husband had to go to work. The location is very ideal anyway, because just adjacent to it is the Shaws, Boots etc. Opposite to the hotel is Next and Mc donalds. Hence the eat outs and shopping is very accessible. The hotel itself... More
