Wine was nice (Pinot blanc) and staff were friendly. Food was bad. Almost certain that the vegetables are bought in already prepared; dull and lifeless - no amount of butter will fix this, despite the kitchen's best effors. Chef has the amazing ability to make...More

A Little Taste of France in the Heart of Limerick City The French Table opened its doors in the Summer of June 2008. Owned by Strasbourg born Thomas Fialon and Limerick native Deirdre Fialon, the couple met in Paris where they were both on work placement. Thomas moved to Ireland with Deirdre where they spent a few years working, before travelling to Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean. Switzerland was their next destination, and together they managed a Restaurant and Bar in a busy ski resort. They Married in France before moving home to Ireland and creating The French Table, one of the Limerick's leading restaurants nestled on the banks of the River Shannon. Over the past few years, the Restaurant has continued to grow from strength to strength and Thomas and Deirdre are delighted to be recognised as one of Limericks best restaurants by Georgina Campbell, Lucinda O’Sullivan, Bridgestone Guide and Tom Doorley to mention a few.
