A Little Taste of France in the Heart of Limerick City The French Table opened its doors in the Summer of June 2008. Owned by Strasbourg born Thomas Fialon and Limerick native Deirdre Fialon, the couple met in Paris where they were both on work placement. Thomas moved to Ireland with Deirdre where they spent a few years working, before travelling to Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean. Switzerland was their next destination, and together they managed a Restaurant and Bar in a busy ski resort. They Married in France before moving home to Ireland and creating The French Table, one of the Limerick's leading restaurants nestled on the banks of the River Shannon.
