I get very good ice cream locally in the states. Maybe I have high expectations but the ice cream here was only average. The portion sizes were extremely small. The prices were through the roof. Service is a pit awkward. Serving from several points in...More

Upbeat, friendly and relaxing with a good location. Also the staff are very involved with providing good service. Costs are on the higher side, but with better products and a tourist trade customer base ...that's what I would expect.

Really friendly professional staff and some of the most unusual icecream flavours including Lavender, Dingle gin and Dingle sea salt. Will definitely be back.

OK, its very nice ice cream and the staffs antics and interaction to get you in the door are to be applauded but €12.50 for two cones I nearly dropped my jaw. I could not justify this under and circumstance even if Miss world herself...More

Without a doubt Murphy's do make some very fine tasty ice-cream and sorbet with unusual variety of flavours but it is VERY pricy for what you get. The staff are very entertaining and have a good sales pitch but be careful of the cost. 3...More

The ice cream here is very good but what really makes this shop is how awesome the staff are. They genuinely enjoy their work and interact so well with customers. I always stop here when we are in the area.

My daughter loves the flavor of the month: Dreamy creamy caramel "It was velvety smooth with honeycomb bits in every bite!! The caramel lingers on....while the creamy honey ice cream continues to sweeten my taste buds." she says. I believe all the flavors are equally...More

Murphy's have an excellent variety of ice-creams available but some flavours are a bit hit and miss. One of their newest specials, the Dreamy Creamy Caramel, is amazing but the prices are a little hard to swallow. The small tub costs €5 and contains only...More

Murphys makes all of its own ice cream from scratch in Co. Kerry, using milk from the rare Kerry Cow breed and hand-made craft. Murphys makes its own sea salt for their sea salt ice cream and even make their own chocolate chips. They also serve coffees and a delicious range of hot chocolates.
