Had lunch in Murphy's and it was delicious. My daughter had the Guiness Stew which was delicious and I had fish and chips which were very tasty. The bartender was friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was local and had a warm vibe. Enjoyed our lunch at Murphy's.

Kerry was a very nice & a helpful waitress. My lamb stew was okay every piece was full of gristle but maybe that is the way lamb is I had never had it before & my husband enjoyed his steak sandwich ( didn't need to add cheese.)

Get the Irish stew with lamb -- absolutely fabulous. Great vibe and local feel. Also the staff is excellent (friendly Irish attitude).

I spent two long evenings at Murphy's Bar, watching rugby and football, talking to local people and enjoying some of the best food I've every had in a pub. It's basic food (fish and chips, stews, etc.) but done with care and excellent ingredients. Good pint of Guinness, too. Thank you, Sean, for running such a great place!

We came in around 6:30 for dinner and while it was busy we got a table. A few different staff members visited our table so the service was choppy. We had to ask a few times for my sons drink. The worst part was that 3 of 4 of us didn't get the food we had ordered. The main course... More

We were staying right down the street and it was a quick walk from the hotel! The people were friendly, there was Irish music that filled the pub and the Guinness was flowing freely! Fun evening!

Hands down best food we have had in the past week of traveling around ireland! Fish and chips are better then galways famous McDonaghs, roast chicken is like thanksgiving dinner on a plate! 👌🏻 and to top it off we had the best service! Two nights in a row and it just keeps getting better! You will not be disappointed!... More

We had the seafood chowder and grilled chicken sandwich. Prices are reasonable, portions are hefty, staff is super friendly. We ate at 8:30 then stayed for the traditional Irish music at 9:30.

Our tour guide gave us a few recommendations for an easy dinner and this was one of them. It's a great place stop for a pint or a bite to eat. Menu is similar to most pubs but the food is way better! Had the haddock in panko crumbs and my spoush had the burger. Both were excellent and way... More
