We had a cozy table near the fireplace in the bar, and the servers were excellent - able to recommend drinks, were attentive, and capable, even with the high number of customers. Both dishes were excellent (see pics). I did the "Fill the Gap" special, which included a soup, entree, tea/coffee, and dessert - all for 20 euros. After dinner,... More

We had 13 in our group, and on the way there, called ahead to check on wait time. We were told about 15-30 minutes, but check with her when we got there. I spoke with the hostess when we got there and she said 10-15 minutes, but she actually sat part of our group separately at a different table then... More

It was amazing. The views are undescribable . Breathtaking is no where near it. Jaunting carts to take you thru the gap. You have to drive on one to feel the atmosphere otherwise it's not the same when walking or riding a bike thru it. The guys that hire the horses are so friendly and tell you so much history... More

Yes, this little gem is aimed at tourists primarily, however, it is a great place for families who could not be made to feel more welcome, by everyone, from staff, bands, other visitors, locals....etc, etc, etc....

The evening we visited a bus tour arrived just as we did so we thought this would be a nuisance but the service was good, the food was delicious and the wine arrived promptly and we were well looked after! Well done all round it was a lovely evening!

Tuesday night last: brought a party of 39 French tourists, expecting this would be as bad as the so-called "Irish Nights " in Three Rock Rathfarnham, Johnny Fox's and that awful place on Batchelors Walk Dublin. How wrong I was! My party was entertained by 3 young utterly skilled musicians on harp fiddle and flute, plus 2 amazing young dancers.... More

Great food, service, music and company. The Irish music and dancing was fantastic, the food delicious and staff great. It was really busy but that helped with the atmosphere, would definitely recommend.

Bustling restaurant in the Kerry countryside. Lots of people in of all ages. We chose fish, sausage and mash with onions gravy and traditional Irish bacon and cabbage. All of a good standard. Friendly staff and a singer guitarist doing all the old Irish favourites when we were in. An enjoyable evening.

Thank L J
