As a 50 year old well traveled food lover I am shocked this restaurant isn't rated #1 in all of Ireland! If you're staying anywhere in the western part of Ireland / Galway please make the time to go here. My father and I stumbled on this place last night simply because the outside was charming and we were both... More

Myself and my partner just had the most beautiful experience and meal in this delightful restaurant, this evening. The service was nothing short of exemplary, the food was excellent. I have food allergies and to say the staff were accommodating, would be an understatement. The staff overheard us toasting to our anniversary, so they served his dessert with candles and... More

This is a beautiful restaurant that puts me in mind of Ballymaloe or similar- traditional dishes but of the highest quality with fantastic service. Would highly recommend for an occasion, or pop in to their new cafe/bakery stop for cakes etc. A real asset to Moycullen and Galway.

My wife and I went to White Gables for sunday lunch, the rib of beef was exceptional and so were the vegetables. A good wine list too. Without question all the staff are great. We were greeted by anne and made to feel at home sitting in the bar. Thank you to everyone and please open a place on London.... More

My family and I are frequent visitors of this fabulous family run restaurant in moycullen, just a few miles from the city centre. Every time I've been here both the service and food have been outstanding and my family (who are much harder to please) will agree. Between all of us, we've tried almost everything on the menu with the... More

This was in the cafe Enjoy, part of the White Gables Restaurant next door. We were entertaining a friend to lunch.....all three of us settled for Fish and chips....which was served with a very tasty side salad. The fish was excellent: very freshly caught locally I would imagine. Chips were of a chunky size, and cooked to yield an optimal taste... More

We were a party of four, & I was being treated - hence no complaining on the night! The ambience is very nice. We ordered drinks in the waiting area, and three of us asked for wine. We were told no prices or shown a wine list. As I said, no complaining from ME. Wine with our meals was enjoyed... More

Thank you for taking the time to review your visit to White Gables. I am somewhat surprised by your comments. Albeit it you were a guest on the night, no one in your party brought to our attention your dis-satisfaction with your meal. If we omitted to serve you vegetables in the first instance, I truly apologise for this oversight.... More

We have been eating at "The White Gables" for many years making a point of going there for special events such as Birthdays & Anniversaries. There is something to suit everybody's taste on the menu, the food is sourced locally and is excellently presented and cooked. The moment you enter the restaurant you are greeted with a big smile and... More

Visitors to this atmospheric restaurant are guaranteed the greatest experience in every way: service, comfort, hospitality and plenty of good classically cooked sumptuous food.
