Travelled here to see the fuss. It's over 15 miles from Galway city..What they do is great for Monivea...but it should not he rated as part of Galway. It is the best in Monivea... It's not fair to the customer nor the owner to list it with Galway restaurants .. This is false to list it as part of Galway city... More

If you want to taste the best apple crumble EVER go to the Little Bakehouse in Monivea. It is the best I have ever tasted and then try the rocky road and the tea brack. The soups are delicious especially the tomato and roasted pepper and as for the chicken paninis........utterly yum! The staff are lovely and friendly, overall a very enjoyable experience.

If you are in Monivea or passing through you really need to stop at the Little Bakehouse, Fionnuala makes the best home-made cakes and treats you can imagine. My children are just mad about her chocolate chip cookies but you can also get soups, scones, sandwiches and pies you name it. Fionnuala and all her staff are very welcoming and... More

Just love the 'little Bakehouse', everything cooked and prepared on site, with great customer service, cookies and cakes to die for. Personal favourite are the potatoe cakes with chilli sauce. If you have not been, you have not lived!!! Sharon

Homely little cafe with local people popping in out for a chat. The best fruit scones i have ever tasted and the kids loved the gingerbread men and muffins. Great coffee to take away to the kiddies playground or the beautiul woods.

I was a regular visitor to the Little Bakehouse when I lived in Galway. You are spoiled not only by the mouth-watering food, but by the friendly service. Fionnuala has a real passion for what she does, and your senses benefit. I can't recommend the Little Bakehouse highly enough. I miss the place, and the people. Make the trip to... More

What a wonderful place. Had the nicest soup and homemade brown bread. My son absolutely loved the potato cakes. And what a selection of treats to choose from afterwards. Got some brown bread and delicious apple crumble to take home. Love the fact that everything is home made. Can't wait to go back.
