We stopped in here as part of an afternoon shopping excursion. Service was polite and prompt and the food was delicious. Great place to relax for a bit, centrally located easy to get a table.

It's difficult to know if this place is any good as we never got to eat there. We had been recommended by the people in the place where we were staying, so decided to give it a go. We walked in as a party of...More

Dear BernardShakey, Thank you for your review on TripAdvisor. However, we are disappointed to hear your feedback as we believe this isn't a fair representation of our bar & restaurant. As you can appreciate it's July, in the middle of festival season and summer holidays...More

Went here recently for a bite to eat and was not disappointed. My husband and brother had the steak sandwich and I had the cottage pie. Both were very enjoyable. For desert they had apple pie and selection of ice cream and I had the...More

Amazing pub. Split into multiple floors and entrances. Absolutely huge. Lots of different bars inside. Great staff, and a lot of them. We ordered the fish and chips, and tbh, it was no great shakes. It was very eatable, but the fish was tough, and...More

We loved our dinner at Sonny's. Great music, great food, and very friendly and attentive server. It was our last night in Galway or we would stopped by again.

If I'm honest I'm always dubious about pub food in places I'm new too. But we decided to eat here and we all were not disappointed. My husband and friend had the shepherds pie which they said was amazing, I had mac and cheese and...More

A fun and bustling joint, this is a great place for traditional food, especially locally sourced seafood and traditional music. Many levels to the bar, each with it's own personality. Get here early as it fills up quickly.

Very fun & interesting place! You have options of upstairs or several rooms with their own bars in each, plus, patios. Looks like an ancient building from the outside. What a surprise when you enter. Great service & food! Galway really is a bouncing town!
