First time I've been to High cafe and I will never return. Rudest staff I've ever come across. Wouldn't go back if you paid me.

A huge menu from mediterranean dishes to pizzas. You can share a portion with a friend as each dish is a generous portion. It's great as you can bring your own wine so it cuts the cost of eating out. It's not bring your own beer though. Book in advance for a table.

After lunch at a very famous but very disappointing fish and chips place we went here for coffee. We loved the atmosphere and the food that was served sounded and looked amazing. We should have eaten there.

The place has a nice atmosphere added with friendly staffs. It's a casual restaurant so you can go there for a chat or a good laugh with friends. The foods are rather pricey on its own however there's a happy duo menu for €16 that let you choose a starter and a main or a main and a dessert. The... More

I enjoyed the meal the ordered in the High Cafe. However the experience was marred by several factors. Firstly, our pre-booked table was not available upon arrival and we were asked to wait upstairs in a cramped space, on a small bench by the kitchen. The waitress was pleasant and hardworking but the restaurant was understaffed (on a Saturday night)... More

Burgers, pasta, fish, paella, pizza... huge selection to choose from. Great variety in the menu. Good portion sizes. The cafe itself was a little difficult to find as its nestled upstairs between two other establishments. It was pouring rain when we went looking for it, so the weather probably didn't help. The cafe can probably sit about 35 people. I... More

Delicious Moroccon food. Well priced and the best part is you can bring your own wine and not get charged a corkage fee. It is situated in the heart of Galway so after your sumptous meal you are right in the heart of the activity of this vibrant city. What more could you ask for. Who you take along is... More

Myself and my daughter visited High Cafe for a second time. The first time we absolutely loved it and thought we had best go again to see if it really was that good. We shared a large falafel plate and a mozzarella and basil garlic bread. It definitely lived up to expectation. We were not disappointed. The staff are very... More

Rambling around Galway with some time to kill and with the rain starting to spill down we dove in for a coffee and after seeing the menu opted for a bite to eat. The food was delicious. The tagine is very good. I would eat here again for sure.
