My other half called is lobster perfect and I devoured my crab claws! 100% go here to the bistro section!

We had high hopes for the Kings Head. Our tour guide recommended it and it looked great inside and outside. The ambiance may have been good, but the food was mediocre. I had the full Irish breakfast--meh. My wife had a salad, which was OK....More

Went to this pub for dinner. Great restaurant upstairs. The staff are welcoming and friendly, and work very hard. Can recommend the seafood chowder and lamb shank. They have a good selection of beers and lagers. Probably not the cheapest of places but quality of...More

Stopped in as we were walking around town. The food was okay, but the prices were too high. The service was okay at best.

Located centrally in Eyre Square The Kings Head is a fine place to eat. Our waitress was very nice. The food was very good. It's a big Irish pub. Music later (not traditional the night we were there). Was a bit pricey.

Unfortunately, The King's Head does not live up to its potential. They have a beautiful building that is centuries old, but fail to create the Irish pub ambiance you would expect. They were piping in pop music when we were there, the servers seemed to...More

I had the burger and it was pretty good, however to be a pub the prices a quite high and to be a restaurant the environment is lacking, smallish table, too dark to eat.. The service was nice and fast.
