We ABSOLUTELY loved Martine's. The location is perfect. While our waitress was super busy, she was also very attentive. We had one of their early bird meals and were not disappointed. I would HIGHLY recommend their Banoffee Pie. Why don't we have that in the...More

Really tasty, proper homemade food. Waitstaff were all very friendly, good choice on the menu and reasonably priced.

Had both lunch and dinner at Martine's when last in Galway. Both meals were really lovely - only small criticism is that a few chunky hand cut chips would suit your style more than the everyday chips you could get anywhere. They just don't live...More

This was nice. The staff was fantastic. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the quality of the food. I shared a steak with my colleague at 800 gram and we could also choose 4 side dishes. That was just great.

Beautiful place in busy Galway city centre with great food offer (oysters! yay!) and very interesting wine list, but staff are real credit to that place, especially lady from Italy, unfortunately I didn't catch her name but I'm sure she's still on training yet so...More

As a family we have lived and worked on Quay street since 1902 and have a long history of looking after customers with Martine having worked in Margaret Mc Donagh fish shop across the road (McDonagh's Seafood Bar) at a very young age. This tradition was passed on to my brother and I, as we too worked with our mother in her restaurant preparing and serving food. Our family tradition and Galway's Great trading ties with other countries have seeped into the bones of our restaurant and greatly influence everything we do. We believe in local Irish produce prepared simply using traditional and modern techniques from home and around the world.
