Poppies is a wonderful authentic restaurant with delicious homemade food. My husband and I dropped in for a heartwarming bowl of Carrot and Parsnip soup last week. Hearty, delicious and good value,.

Come here a couple times each week before going over to the business. Really love the food, plenty of homemade dishes, cakes, teas and coffees. Staff are really welcoming and couldn't be nicer. You won't be disappointed!

So many areas need attention in this cafe: Staff training / Staff behaviour / Quality of food (lasagne, quiche and salad all so bland!) / Pricing. Wouldnt be tempted to go back.
