We visited on a Saturday night and I really can't say enough about how good the service is. The staff are knowledgable about their product and have that perfect balance of allowing the dinner conversation to flow - not asking "is everything alright" every 10 minutes. The food is simple enough, and done well. The drinks list is comprehensive. The... More

6 of us had a lovely dinners (one of us is Gluten intolerant). It was a pleasant meal lovely choice (particularly steak and fish) and very good value. The staff are very attentive and the old style rail way building adds a certain character to the evening.

The food, we could not fault it was very well made and well worth the price. However we did find the restaurant itself to be lacking atmosphere and the staff to be very unattentive.

Hartley's has become a firm favourite with our family and is our go-to option for celebratory dining events. The food is sublime. I tend more towards the seafood than the red meat but both have been reported as melt-in-the-mouth. Scallops, crab, swordfish and hake are all firm favourites with Hartley's. I really can't fault the food at all it is... More

Lovely dinner in a cool setting. Big old building, with plenty of space. Great staff. Very fast service and really tasty food. Scallops as starter were cooked perfectly. Our fault we booked so late for new years, we got a table in the bar area, but the dinner more than made up for it!!!

It's worth the jaunt from Dublin to experience that fresh wonderful fish and chips served here. In the summertime it's absolutely magnificent, sitting outside and enjoying the harbor but my husband and I have been known to go in the rain just for the fish n chips.

This is a Dun Laoghaire reliable for good quality fine dining at a reasonable cost. Whilst the room is a bit noisy, the ambience is good and the service attentive. The wine list is sensible and the food always agreeable.

Beautifully located beside the harbour, Hartleys is quite spacious, a well appointed place and has plenty of room at the bar for pre drinks. The Christmas party season is underway so there was a great athmosphere evident. Staff are friendly and professional. A good variety of menu options and a decent wine menu. Prices not cheap, but my Waldorf Salad... More
