I stopped in to the Larder Cafe for lunch after scanning their menu outside. They offered some really appealing lunch dishes. I was seated immediately and the service was quick and attentive, if not overly warm. I opted for the fish and chips, which were...More

We had diner at the Larder some years ago and paid a visit again to taste the Lamb burger again. Not much changed and we truly appreciated both the food and the atmosphere. Their locally brewed beer is a must have :)

If you would like a surly waiter and heavy metal music to accompany your lunch this is the place. Food was good - too bad the experience does not live up to the hype.

A small restaurant in busy Parliament Street, easy to walk past, but we were taken by the original dishes on the menu in the window. Pork belly stuffed with spiced lamb, salmon fillet on puy lentils, in a rather dark restaurant. Booked by phone -...More
