Wonderful dinner with great staff. Excellent food, order anything on the menu and enjoy. Stick with the owner recommendations and you won't go wrong. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.

My wife and I went here on a recent trip to Dublin and we loved it so much that we went back again during the same trip. My wife had the coddle both times and it was amazing. I had the bacon and cabbage and the beef stew and it was also amazing. We even bought their cookbook. On top... More

Lovely bar where we had a very nice lunch. For drinks we had Guinness and Hairy Lemon Lager which tasted great. Seems to be a popular place to go.

Very busy and boisterous, welcoming to tourists. My husband said his Irish stew was the best he's had. My seafood was also good. Even though the atmosphere is touristy, the food and drinks are delicious and authentic.

First visit to the Hairy Lemon with a family group on Saturday night. The place was buzzing and packed to the doors but despite this, the service was excellent and quick. Only drawback was that we had to leave the Lounge and go downstairs due to the arrival of a group of Ross O'Carroll Kelly types who began bellowing to... More

We visited on a cabbie's recommendation. It was quite close to our hotel. Houased in an old building, the Hairy Lemon, like many pubs, has lots of rooms with little nooks and crannies where folks gather for a bit and a pint. It's fascinating to imagine how these pubs have evolved and grown over time -- what might that back... More

This place was great!!! I found this gem because I really wanted to have Shepard's pie (Cottage Pie) in Dublin, and TripAdvisor reviews deliver again!! The first thing you notice is how spacious it is. You can sit at the bar which has its own section or if you'd rather sit and eat they have their own other section. The... More
