The service is great here as is the food. We ordered two sides between us and this was far too much food. Best to order one small one. The vegeterian risotto was quite dry and gluggy which made it inedible so not great for vegeterians.

Great decor, service and style. Shanahans is somewhere you go for an occasion. Their steak was good, not the best I've had. I was part of a group for the early bird menu. It was reasonable value 3 courses. The meal was let down by...More

Perfect place for a business dinner. The menu consists almost entirely of steaks, and they are HUGE, but of extraordinary quality. The downstairs bar is equally very nice, and service upstairs and downstairs is impeccable. It's a tat expensive for what it is, but notwithstanding,...More

Went here for a business dinner with some colleagues. The food was excellent. I can recommend trying the onion strings if you are having a steak. The venue is great with some historic American memorabilia in the downstairs bar.

Formal setting, formal clientele, although I went fairly casual (no shirt) which was no problem. No starter as not massively hungry. My main; fillet mignon with chips and spinach as side was a 10/10 Partner; same but with foie gras, the foie gras is huge,...More

Had a great dinner and steaks. Start off by getting a drink in the Oval Office Bar in the basement. Great bartenders, good liquor and tasty bar snacks.

There is no dress code but I did wear a blazer and khakis. Didn't want to look like a bum. I strongly recommend the Saddle Room instead, better food and way less expensive.

American Style Steakhouse and Seafood Restaurant featuring Certified Irish Angus beef and the freshest seafood and produce from Ireland's local bounty. Shanahan's ethos is simple and sophisticated. Your experience begins upon arrival. Enjoy an aperitif in the Oval Office bar. Take a moment to inspect the impressive collection of memorabilia adorning the walls. Each item commemorates the U.S. Presidents with an Irish connection or ancestry. Marvel at the bar's centrepiece, JFK's rocking chair from Air Force One. Dining in Shanahan's is a delight.
