This place is popular with students and bearded folk. It is usually very busy and most people have to stand. my overall impression is of smelly drains and unwashed bodies. Using the facilities requires a spirit of adventure and a strong stomach. The drink is much the same as any other Dublin pub where quality control is carried out by... More

Possibly one of my favourite bars in Dublin with a chilled atmosphere. It's not swamped with tourists, it offers an amazing pint of Guinness, has a world class whiskey selection, boasts very friendly staff and has a great craic. I've visited during the week when there are a few people milling about with a pint or two, and visited on... More

Fantastic pint of Guinness in Kehoes, one of the best in Dublin in my experience. It's well known among locals, as can be seen by the big after work crowd in the early evening and the throngs that pack the place every evening. Loads of character and a great vibe. Just off Grafton St, it's a smashing pub. Highly recommended.

We had a drink here before dinner this weekend. We went in the front door and couldn't find space downstairs or upstairs so we went around to the side door and were able to find some space right at the back. There was a good atmosphere but it was just a little bit too packed for my liking.

Settled in to the small snug and forgot about time for a few hours. Great feeling to the bar, a warm welcome from the staff. I'm sure this place gets busy, but on a quiet wet Dublin afternoon, you will not find a better place to chat, drink and dream life away,

If you are going to take some time in Temple Bar, this is a great choice. The usual excellent beer but also a truly fun atmosphere and great local music.

This pub was recommended to us by a friend who had previously visited Dublin. I am so glad it was as l would have walked by without a second glance. As soon as you walk into this pub you feel at home. It's very cosy with various little snugs and partitions making this a really traditional 19th century bar. I... More

Nice old pub with polite bar staff. No non-sense atmosphere but great drinks and cosy fires! Would definitely recommend if you are into the traditional type of bar/pub.

One of Dublin's older, more famous establishments. Pokey & small - making for a good atmosphere with nice pints of Guinness. Worth dropping in if you're passing by.
