We were coming off the Viking Splash Tour. Decided to stop in after the guide spoke highly of the establishment. There was live acoustic music playing, the day we were there. Plenty of historical items around the bar and outside dining area as well. Great...More

O'donoghue's was our last bar-hopping stop for the night, and it was a good one. The music lured us in, as we heard the strains of a rocking rendition of AC/DC's "She Shook Me All Night Long". After ordering a round of drinks at the...More

The pub is quite nice. We have been there on a Wednesday and two bands had a gig. They didn’t had much experience but I found it quite good they give a chance for smaller bands. I would recommend this pub for a drop by...More

I stopped here many times in the 1960's and 1970's when the likes of the great Seamus Ennis would sit in with his pipes. And I had the joy of playing with the great Christie Moore on more than one occasion as musicians were invited...More

When in Dublin I always stop at least once in this place for food and a pint. I quite like this place, not overcrowded as the pubs from Temple Bar Street are. The food is good. I will stop again here next time.

Meh. For food, this place was below average. They apparently got a new menu. I was't expecting the ritz, but was hoping for something better. Perhaps this place got all the reviews for the evening entertainment. Missed that....

Highly recommended. My favorite pub in Dublin with some of the best trad music sessions that I have experienced. Make sure that you catch a session!

Love this bar because it is an authentic Dublin Bar. Where you can still talk to people. If you expect live music you need to go somewhere else but you can enjoy a few pints and talk to others.

Visit on the Sunday night for live music and loveable locals. Feels like a real locals pub in the heart of the city, offering a nice change from some of the tourist trap bars.
