Although the location is second to none, the hassle factor of going to Beshoff's now far outweighs the benefits. In fairness, the chips (fries) are cooked to perfection as per the expectation of a Brit or Irish person, I think mine were fried in beef fat even...... anyway, the location is great, let down by poor floor cover and table... After the hustle and bustle of shopping on a busy Saturday afternoon, it was relief to enter into the calm of Beshoffs. There aren't many tables on the ground floor but plenty upstairs. Ordering was straightforward at the counter and food was brought to our table when it was ready. Loved the option of salad instead of chips. I had... More

Very fresh. Staff v polite. Upstairs seating as well as downstairs seating. Good range of fish dishes. Can have a fish meal with salad or chips with tea/coffee for under 11 Euro. Bargain.

Great little fish and chip shop. Gluten free options available which I had. Good portion sizes with meals. 2 of us had haddock and chips with mushy peas with 1 large coke to share for about 24 euros.

After a hard day sightseeing it was great to find this old fashioned restaurant serving superb fish and chips. Lovely and clean with black and white floor tiles. The staff were helpful and pleasant. Well worth a visit.

It may sound weird for a vegetarian to eat at a fish and chip restaurant, but when you have friends that wants to try this traditional dish and you follow a vegetarian or gluten free diet, the Beshoff is a great alternative. I went there with my mom, who loves fish. She had the traditional cod and I had the... More

Authentic fish & chips made fresh while you wait. There are choices for what kind of fish (even ray this month) you want. I had the cod, my son had the lemon sole. Delicious. Big portions.

I like this place purely because it's traditional fish and chips. They don't try to be anything they're not.

The consistency of the fish was not something I found pleasing and I don't care to return nor recommend it. I've had much much better fish and chips, thank you very much.
