Today was my son's little anniversary, he turned 6 months. We decided to celebrate it in this wonderful restaurant. We were served by Cian and we must compliment his great hospitality and service! We felt very welcomed by him. We got their juicy burgers with blue cheese and chips, plus a salad with carrots, rocket leaves and other ingredients. Everything... More

I was really astonished about the way my girlfriend and I were treated at Gallagher's bistro this evening and can honestly say I will never go back here. My girlfriend ordered a daube of beef slow cooked in Guinness; what arrived was an overcooked sirloin steak after a very long wait (50 mins). When my girlfriend complained to the manager,... More

Well, this place certainly surprised me. I ordered the three egg omlette and it was delish! And at 8euro cheap as chips! A friend got the fry and loved it. One friend got the sourdough french toast and she was disappointment and another got the eggs benedict but then decided she ordered wrong so not really the restaurants fault there.... More

Ate here on a 4-day trip to Dublin. The bistro is in an excellent location. The staff are friendly and attentive and the food was very good indeed. All this at a reasonable price.

Went for afternoon tea with my friend. Definitely would recommend this place. You get to choose 3 types of sandwiches you prefer. You can add a glass of prosecco or a cocktail for and extra charge. There was only two of us and there was so much food we couldn't even finish it. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. I will... More

They serve quite large portions. The wait staff was friendly. In my main dish was a whole garlic clove, not something I want to find on my plate. As desert I ordered a lemon curty. After scraping of the pile of salt on top the rest was nice. Overal not a place I'd go back to for food.

Our waiter was actually a lovely lad but burnt the coffee and after waiting 25-30 minutes after we ordered to receive our lunch, I had ordered the chicken burger and received a beef burger. I wasn't about to say anything as was afraid of waiting a further 25 minutes for the meal to be corrected. When I bit into the... More

Visited here on a Monday night using a voucher code from a discount site - but you wouldn't have known as the service, menu choices and attentiveness was just the same. The online booking system was really easy and simple to use. When we arrived the manager knew of our booking, had our table arranged and menus at the ready.... More

Loved that we could choose our own sandwich fillings. A good selection of cakes and warm scones. Service was excellent with friendly and helpful staff. The food which other customers ordered also looked very nice... the burgers looked amazing. It is a very nice and relaxed atmosphere inside. Would definitely recommend and will return on my next Dublin visit.

Had a great birthday dinner. Had a cheeky wee groupon which made this a bargain. Gorgeous special of trout and curried mussels and my friend had salmon. All perfect. Only negative was the creme brûlée had more of a thick mousse consistency rather than soft creamy, which I would have preferred. Well worth the visit.
