Arrived on a Tuesday quite early where a lovely chap seated the 4 of us quickly, gave us menus and took drinks order. Menu is not outstanding but there was enough on it. My colleagues ordered fishcakes and the chicken and my other colleague ordered soup and Pork. Fishcakes were ok, nothing wow about it. They were encased in a... More

The service was great for getting there about 3pm. Had the bangers and mash. The sauce was AMAZING. Ice cream was good (advertised as "the finest..."-maybe not ). Price point was on par (probably a little more affordable than other restaurants of the same genre). I would go back for cocktails, coffee, or morning takeaway.

Good restaurant, the service was a little bit slow considering there were not many customers the day I visited it. The plates are denerously sized.

We came in for a late lunch and we're overall enjoying the experience our food was lovely and the service was fast and friendly however half way through our meal the "lads" in the kitchen started shouting and messing and making quite a lot of noise. Our waitress was over like a shot to try and sort them out but... More

This restaurant still rates very high on my favourite list and I would continue to recommend this as a really good restaurant to visit for good quality food at very competitive prices. The BYOB policy is a very welcomed addition that has been utilized many times over. 😋 It has been a few months since we visited but just recently... More

Myself and 3 friends went to afternoon tea. Service was terrible. We waited for more than 30 minutes to order and a further 40 to get any food ! Meanwhile people who came in later were served first. The food was mediocre and cakes were terrible. The waiters avoided all eye contact and chatted to each other in the kitchen... More

We were welcomed warmly by our server who explained our menu to us. The restaurant was nice and cosy and the food was delicious. We enjoyed our afternoon tea and will be returning soon for more.

we came here as a works group and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the meal. unusually it is a BYO which is perfect as wine in restaurants in Dublin tends to to be very expensive. can recommend the party menu if you're going as a large group
