First time visiting this place after a recommendation from a new neighbour. Thoughtfully designed and decorated, efficient and friendly staff, and staff who know menu inside out, beautiful food, and definitely a place you can go to pass by an hour or two relaxing

I live close to Kennedys and this is a favourite spot for breakfast. The service is always pretty good and the food is good quality and good value. There are always a couple of specials which makes the choice even better.

Stopped by after going to the gym today, was really just looking for coffee but got breakfast as well. Best decision so far this year. 2 fried eggs, bacon, sausage, mushroom, and kennedys brown bread. Perfectly done, I asked the waitress to tell whoever made it that it was the best breakfast I'd ever had, and it really was. Reasonable... More

I visited the Clontarf branch on Thursday 29th with my sister. We were greeted warmly and shown upstairs as this popular cafe was already quite busy. On arrival upstairs, we were greeted again and shown to our seats. Our order was taken quickly, and delivered promptly. We were both extremely impressed by our cappuccinos and breakfasts. As we were finishing,... More

While visiting relatives in Fairview, we popped in for lunch and a coffee. The sandwich was really lovely and the coffee was to die for. What really struck us was the service. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. They each said hello, checked on us that all was good and asked again at payment. One girl was called... More

I brought a large group of 28 teachers here for lunch, we had many random orders and we were under a little time pressure. However nothing was too much work for the girls, the group were delighted with the service and the food was super. Can't recommend this beautiful gem of a cafe if you're our Fairview or Clontarf way.... More

What a little gem. We had the pleasure of dining in Kennedy's restaurant recently with some friend after a very leisurely walk along the promenade in Clontarf. From the minute we walked in the welcome was warm and friendly and there was no issue about getting us a table despite the fact the place was buzzing. After choosing from an... More

Popped into Kennedys for breakfast last Saturday. Despite the cafe being very busy we were seated promptly and had our order taken in good time. The atmosphere upstairs is relaxed and cosy. Staff were friendly and despite it being busy we did not have to wait long for our food. The home made granary bread is absolutely delicious. I would... More
