How I wish our local pubs had such character and energy. We were staying near Haddington Road, where this pub is situated. It advertises meals at silly prices, but we thought "where is the catch"? There isn't one! This pub is full of life, characters and delicious food. It buzzes... straight after work, as people go home; but especially when... More

From the front it looks tiny but it is like the Tardis and is huge inside, Great range of beers and spirits. Food was very tasty and great value at 12 Euros with a pint. Watched a football match on the TV and the only criticism was the sound was turned down so I couldn't hear the commentary. Loads of... More

The serve great dishes at very good price - including a pint of beer! They're located at Dublin 4, a little walk from Trinity (around 20mins), my favourite dish is the beef served with sauce and mash. Staff are very nice and helpful, the environment inside the place is great and pub-style decorated.

This is a fine pub with nice staff and good food, however the website needs to be amended as the 4€ pints are now Sunday to Tuesday not to Wednesday as advertised, very popular with local offices .

Food that's been under lights all day? Giving what it is I'd rate it 9 out of 10 or even 9.5. Can I rate it at 10? I mean it's a carvery and exceeded all expectations. Nicer than most roast dinners other pubs cite to serve fresh. Loads of meat, all the expected trimmings and they had no problem allowing... More

I awoke after a heavy night on the slosh - hungry, confused... knowing my hunger would not be eased with a light meal, and through sheer luck, remembered about hearing the good words said about the carvery in the 51 bar, I thought it was my time to give it a shot... solo... I arrived in there for the first... More

This pub looks small on the outside, but when you go inside, you find it's nearly 3x larger! There's plenty of room for seating in here, and the menu is fairly cheap. The food was good, it wasn't too noisy, and there was a really cool ceiling fixture in the back room. The best thing was the deal at the... More

Great deal €12 for main (we both had steak) salad, fries and drink (long next beer or wine or diff drink). Food was delicious in a quiet quaint Irish Pub. Will definitely return.
