First time to this pub and was not disappointed. A busy friday evening, the place was buzzing and atmosphere was great. Best pub steakburger Ive ever had! So tasty! And craft beer selection great! Would definitely go back.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but this was one of the best meals we had in Dublin. Against the Grain is one of several restaurants owned and operated by Galway Bay Brewery. All of the menus are somewhat similar but offer slightly different things. I ordered: The Against the Grain Hotpot Braised Irish beef hotpot with roasted root vegetables... More

Big selection of craft beer and drinks available at this bar. It is a shortish walk from Stephens Green to Wexford street and well worth the trip to this area for food and drink. Bunsen and Tappas de Lola are also nearby. The decor is typical Dublin basic bar, nothing to talk about basic and clean. Staff are friendly, willing... More

Dropped in for a quick beer while waiting for a table at a nearby restaurant. The place made an impression right away. Long candles burning on rustic wooden tables in an otherwise dimly lit bar made the atmosphere really nice. The beer and whiskey selection was really good and the staff seemed to know their business. I hope to be... More

Waitress forgot to order my sausage and mash. Manager stepped in and gave me it free of charge. No tears. Excellent beers.

Staff very friendly and selection of craft beers excellent. I was loving this place until my food arrived. I ordered salmon with asparagus. The salmon was nice but the asparagus was no more than a garnish. I was still hungry leaving the place. I later got some home cut chips in the chipper down the street, these were excellent.
