I've popped in here a few times and did so previously when it was The Norseman. The drinks were always expensive (it is Temple Bar after all) but it's just gotten ridiculous now. We had a drink here on Thursday at about 5pm and it was €6.40 for a pint of Heineken and €6 for a bottle of Sol. It's... More

The food I ate was lovely, I ordered a beef and Guinness casserole and other people with me ordered fish and chips (which looked very good) and steak on the stone (this was a bit overcooked). We sat upstairs so it was nice to hear the music from the guy playing downstairs without it being too loud. We didn't have... More

I have lived in Dublin for over 6 months now, and I have never experienced such rudeness as I did at the Norseman. Not only is the pub very overpriced, the manager made racist remarks to my friends and I, and then swore at me as he (very rudely) asked me to leave as I was not drinking alcohol, despite... More

Popped in here after a bad meal in another pub. Asked if we could just have puddings - No problem at all. Waitress was lovely and helpful. Found us a table straight away. I had traditional Irish bread and butter pudding which was delicious. Great live music in the background too. Recommend this place!

Came here after a very disappointing dinner and was greeted by traditional Irish tunes! Came upstairs and was made to feel extremely welcome! (despite only wanting pudding and wine!) The waitress was really kind and recommended the most AMAZING cheesecake any of our party has ever tasted!! Wonderful atmosphere and really reasonable prices!

Went here several times on a recent trip to Dublin. Both nights the place was packed but capably looked after by Brendan and his colleagues. Beer was great. And the live music on both nights was really enjoyable. Highly recommended. Just wish it was a bit closer....!

We enjoyed a few hours here, great food, great atmosphere and excellent service. A mixture of live music played such as pink Floyd, Coldplay, blur and some traditional irish tunes by a guy on his guitar! busy but not too loud so far our favourite pub in Dublin.

This is a great place to visit in Temple Bar. It doesn't cost the earth, it serves SUPERB food (especially their fish dishes) and has a really good selection of craft beers (try O'Hara's Hop Heavy, delicious)! We were made very welcome, the staff gave us some excellent recommendations and the music was really good as well - loud enough... More

This place is now called The Norseman. The three of us stayed for supper during a family visit to Dublin. The food was quite decent for pub food, and the atmosphere really helps. The waitress made us feel as comfy as if we were guests in her own living room.
