Stopped off here Saturday lunch time was told there was a delay we didn't mind customers. comming in were not even given menus only one waitress she was in a sheer panic looked upset at one stage just couldn't cope. Only one chef in the kitchen he popped out with his shopping bag was gone for ages at this stage... More

We ordered the soup of the day (vegetables)and it tasted like knorr ready soup.. i am pretty sire that was ready soup. Very disappointing. Also they didn't give us receipt and we believe we were overcharged. We ordered three dishes of 21 according to menu and paid 25. So be careful what you are being charged.

I visited urban picnic and as i am a big risotto fan i ordered one. it was not good at all. Very salty and the chargrilled chicken that was part of the dish was boiled. Not chargrilled. Also small portion.

My husband and I stopped for brunch on a Saturday and were happy to see it medium full (which doesn't take much as it's not too big). We were promptly greeted and sat right away, but after that, the service was pretty slow. There was only one server/barista for the whole place, so she was left running around and trying... More

After a couple of hours walking about, we stumbled onto this place, looking for a late breakfast. Although well past 12, he was good enough to make 3 full breakfasts from scratch. And worth the wait it was too.

Bumped into this place by accident. Small breakfast/lunchroom ran by a former cruise chef. Everything in here is a little slow, and the preparation of your food will take a little while, but is well worth the (still pretty short) wait, as everything is prepared freshly on the spot (even soups). Lunched here twice, had a veggie and a tuna... More

This is honestly the worst cafe I have been to in Dublin. Upon arriving at the cafe, we were told to sit down, waiting 10 minutes before being greeted with any menus. After finally giving out orders for food and coffee, it was another 20 minutes before I received my soup add-on that was meant to come with the sandwich,... More

Popped in for a quick lunch in urban picnic alongside my partner last week. We both ordered the soup of the day which was described as roasted veg. It tasted and looked artificial - probably came straight from a pack of processed soup mix. The service was a bit slow as well. The only positive thing was the friendly waitress... More

Vinny the owner chef is seriously talented. His food is amazing. From the outside you think its going to be a little cafe with cafe food. But the food here would give any restaurant a run for its money. As all the dishes are cooked fresh it can take a little longer than expected. But a million percent worth the... More
