An Italian place run by an Italian gent and his family. Top quality coffee, pastries and juices all made on the premises. For example the juice takes a little longer than other places but you see him cut the oranges in front of you and use the squeezer. Very small eat in sit down bar but there's usually a seat... More

Quality every time Proper coffee, proper cornetto, never lets you down.Is everything the new poncy beard stroking hipster cafes are not.your pastry will not come in a mini bloody shopping trolley from Tiger or served on a broken slate from an industrial school circa 1900 and thank christ i've yet to see anyone in the place wear a Dickie bow. You have to get the apple and custard croissant if you're passing here. Wonderful spot but quite small inside and because their treats are so tasty it fills quite quick. A hidden gem in dublin, check it out!

A special place, different focaccia each day, delicious pastries, good coffee, all made in front of you. A regular lunchtime haunt.

Panem is an unique place. One table and high chairs along the wall don't seem to be very welcoming, but actually it is a great place for people who want to have a snack and hassle free time to read. Diversed selection of warm stuffed breads, smaller and bigger desserts.

This place was incredible. We sampled focaccia and pastries, and they were all excellent. I wish we'd stopped in sooner on our trip! I highly recommend this spot. You won't be disappointed by anything you try!

Just sorry we didn't discover this little gem the day before we leave Dublin!! A small little home business run by the family. Mum makes all the pastries and panini' herself and they have many different fillings. I had spinach and olive and it was brilliant. Also tried the raspberry and banana slice. The coffee was hot and really good.... More

Dropped in this morning on our way out sightseeing. Small bakery/cafe with outstanding pastries and great cappuccinos/coffee at reasonable prices. Pastries are made in house so they are definitely fresh.

Had breakfast in Panem this morning. A beautiful ham and cheese croissant with cappuccino. The pastry was melt in the mouth and delicious. This very small restaurant is worth a visit if in Dublin. It is open about twenty years and the quality has never varied. Excellence in food and service. Well done Panem.
