Although I had a deal rush voucher, that said in the fine print that it could not be used on mother's day ! When I made the booking I advised them of this and they were happy to accept the voucher! Delighted ,so after reading reviews I was a bit unsure what to expect ! On apperence it's delightful, open... More

We were there on a busy Saturday night on a voucher. The place in general is nice, bit tired looking in places but nice cosy atmosphere. For starters the stuffed squid was delicious and the rolled pork and mustard mash for mains were very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I'd definitely go back.

My husband and I passed this place while walking close to our rental flat. The welcome at the door was very warm. The decor was tired and could definitely do with brightening. The service was excellent -- friendly and efficient. We both had the rib eye steak. We asked for medium rare but it was medium. However it was very... More

Very nice restaurant! Perfect food and wine! Very friendly staff! And in the back of the restaurant you'll find the pub with live music! It was a very cool evening!

25 euro for three decent courses was great. The desserts left a bit to be desired but the main course and starters were delicious. They gave very generous helpings for the starter and main but the dessert seemed to try to be more pretentious and not succeed. Overall enjoyed the experience

I used to love this place, and would go at least one a month when I'm in Dublin. I think they changed the chef, starters were awful, hard teeth breaking bread served to my friend with his pate, I had some kind of salmon starter it was awful served in pastry or something like that. steak was chewy, please serve... Well... really not much more to add. Well... maybe the restaurant's proximity to a pub next door, which meant that the loungy jazz vibes were completely outgunned by next door's traditional Irish folk music, including manic flute playing. The two establishments share kitchen, and the food going next door looked nicer and flowed quicker than our higher priced menu. The... More

Beautiful relaxing atmosphere. Chill and relaxed and a bit elegant! Nice to sit at the bar and have drink. Soft music plays and and you can still hear your company talk. Bar staff are very attentive and professional. Good for a romantic date or a intimate dinner and drinks with friends kind of place. Love the Bailey's coffee.

Had an early evening meal after a visit to "The Illusionists" and was pleased with all aspects of the restaurant. Competent and friendly service combined with an adequate flavoursome meal. The crubeens had flavour and the side of apple really set them off. The fish batter was very light and enjoyable. For price and service you could not complain. Will... More
