Popped in on a Friday night when town was very busy. Our last trip in had been quite underwhelming, but this time both starters, (Pate/Garlic Mushrooms) and mains (Sea Bream/Lamb Shank) were excellent. Back to the top of our list of places to head for.

This is a tremendous place to eat. The price is low €20 for two courses - a price you cannot beat and the food is just super. We were five and all had fish of a range of types. Locally sourced fresh fish is what makes this place. Simply presented fish and good vegetables on the side. Desserts also were... More

Was here last December. The food was nothing exciting, menu in general was a bit stodgy. Waiter was nice enough. Maybe the menu isn't just my usual favourite food. I felt like the massive portions were making up for the bland food.

This is our go to place for a couples meal. We are never disappointed. The staff are so nice. They have been the same two guys with the manager/owner for years. That says a lot about how a business is run and people are looked after. You can get a 2 course meal for €20. The slow cooked beef is... More

Lovely staff and lovely food. They were very busy but had time to fit us in with no booking. We had the steak and chicken and the meal deal was 2courses for 20.

What a surprise that was. When you're expecting some good homemade food and are presented with such excellent dishes, what a delight. The service was really friendly and attentive. Should be on everyone's list for a meal out in Cork

Very small with unusual decor. Starters were disappointing but mains and desserts were good. The meal was fine nothing to complain about but i wouldnt describe it as a culinary experience or anything like it.
