This is a great lunch spot ideal for casual lunch or business. Good food, good atmosphere, good price! Highly advisable to book in advance for lunch as they get quiet busy.

Had a beautiful lunch here today. I had a butternut squash and cheddar quiche with rosemary sautéed potatoes and a green salad and it was absolutely delicious. My friend had an Asian chicken salad and she praised hers also. We shared a dessert which was an apple and hazelnut cake with caramel ice cream - so tasty! The staff were... More

If you are ever in Cork and looking for a meal you have to go here - it is simply amazing. There is a free car park next to the Castle and I have never seen it full, the castle itself is so perfect that it almost looks fake. I was looking for a special location to take two of... More

I booked a table for this lunch which I highly recommend as the cafe gets super busy! We arrived early but out table was ready so bonus points for that! The menu has something for everyone from light salads to posh pizzas to rich tagines. We started with olives and a board of beautiful breads and dips (kale pesto, houmous... More

Well is it any wonder Cork is becoming the food capital of Ireland. This little gem nestles on the banks of the River Lee which feels miles from anything but close enough to everything. All 4 of us had 3 courses and each dish was an absolute delight to the palette. The welcoming nature of all staff, the menu choice... More

Ate here of a sunday morning. Very poor experience. Food slopped onto plate-1 rasher, 1 pudding, 1 sausage, a poached egg and sourdough toast, no presentation of the food whatsoever. Food was cold. There are definitely nicer places for breakfast in cork.

The Castle Cafe is one cafe from my personal choice nearby my own place. I like the area, where is place located, beautiful harbour, cosy atmosphere inside and tasty meal. I really like a coffee with a fresh pastry. Just pop up and check, hopefully everyone would delighted this cafe same as me
