Beautiful food and a wonderful atmosphere last Saturday night at The Brook Inn. They have a new menu and it is very nice. I had the Crispy hen's egg and the Rib-eye and my other half had the goats cheese starter and the Hake main. They were really and truly delicious. We shared the chocolate marquise and had one of... Another Sunday lunch in the Brook and more (hard)mushy peas and pureed carrot. Sunday dinner in the Brook is becoming quite repetitive, hard marrowfat peas and pureed carrot. I know vegetables are to be served Al dente but this does not apply to peas. Been going for Sunday lunch most weeks for the past three or four months and it's... More

Following a recent visit to The Brook Inn Glanmire for a meal. After pondering through the menu we decided to order a Lamb Stew and a Chicken Curry. When ordering the waitress told us the kitchen was busy and we'd be waiting for at least 25 to 30 mins, which was ok. To our disgust the Lamb stew was not... More

Have been here the past 3 Sundays for lunch. We came here first because friends had given us a voucher and it is slowly becomming our regular Sunday spot! Beautiful food and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. It is a family restaurant and they are very accomodating with buggies/high chairs etc. Some negative reviews are regarding the noise from crying babies...which... More

Family lunch which once again was excellent. Menu has plenty of choice across all courses, which means something to suit everyone's taste. Service is prompt and efficient. First time since new layout and it looks really good, modern and relaxed.

We had a family meal here last night and all I can say is that we can't wait to go back again. The place itself was so classy and very comfortable, very warm and inviting. The staff were so friendly, the service was excellent and the food was out of this world. We all agreed to be back sooner rather... More

Dined there on 29/8/16 sat at a table but had to move due to a screaming child. Moved to the bar area which again was very noisy. It took ages for the waiter to come to take the order. Was just about to leave when the waiter arrived at the table. Ordered the two course option of €26.50 pp which... More
