Strange coincidences and a bit of psychedelic took me and my wife to this place. And we couldn't be happier! So, We read and heard Cork is great for fresh fish and that was what we wanted, definitely. On our way to Electric in the afternoon for some oysters we asked a guy for directions, and just passing through Quinlan's... More

Not a HUGE fan of Chinese food but we said we'd give this one a crack. First up, excellently decorated and beautiful inside, some nice Chinese wood and ornaments on display. Next the service - Outstanding, a guy even took my coat for me (I know its old fashioned but who still treats a guest that well?). I got the... More

Yuan Ming Yuan is absolutely the best dim sum restaurant in Europe. I tried different restaurants in Uk, Ireland, Italy, Germany, France ... in Cork you will find the best. Did you notice the different taste of the dim sum between Yuan Ming Yuan and the other places? Well, I did, it's very simple ,most of the dim sum restaurants... More

A friend introduced me to this restaurant and told me to ask for the Chinese and Dim Sum menus not the western one. I was very impressed, the staff are amazing, on my second visit I was asked if I wanted the Chinese menu again, on my third I was handed the Chinese menu and informed that the dish I... More

My wife and I ate here recently and its really quite good. The location is convenient. The interior is well laid out and maintained. The menu has a good selection. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is good quality, well prepared and tasty. The pricing is very reasonable. Overall I'd happily go back.

I went there again as I was craving dim sum and actual Asian cuisine isn't a thing in Ireland. I had the century egg congee, which didn't have a lot of century egg in it, the stuffed sticky rice which was good and the siu mai. It was overall very good but quite salty and pricier than an average Chinese.... More

Went here having read that it's the top Chinese restaurant in Cork. Far from it. While the service was good, the food was very average at best. There are much better Chinese restaurants in town and we won't be coming back here again.

Went here on a recommendation from a friend. We were not disappointed. The menu was lovely and the waiters were very helpful and considerate. The food was amazing. The portions were a good size and we had a lovely time. Will definitely be making a return visit in the future!

Thank lefield
