There are two parts to this establishment. A cafe side where you queue and order then sit down. Then there is the restaurant. I have been to both many times. It is nice to sit in the high stools over looking the market in the cafe side. The restaurant is obviously a bit slower and comfier. The menu is good... More

A few of us had lunch there the other day. You start off by ( on that day anyhow) joining a long queue and then when you get to the cash desk you place your order. They give you a sign to carry which has your table number. When a table eventually became partially free we were seated. The first impression... More

We had a lovely afternoon lunch here. Both of us had the monk fish and it was delicate and delicious. We shared a dessert and didn't leave a single morsel! It is quite busy for such a small place, but we loved every minute of it and would definitely eat here again.

We popped in here whilst visiting the English Market downstairs. The cafe is located above the middle of the market and overlooks the stalls. We had coffee and cake. The cakes were very yummy and rather filling too, I recommend the carrot cake. The walls of the cafe are adorned with Irish historical memorabilia. Worth a visit.

I have eaten here several times The food is freshly made and very tasty. You do have to climb stairs to get to it which might restrict older people.

Good food which is sourced from the market below there was a slight wait for a seat as it was busy when we went but that is expected given the time of year

Well established restaurant upstairs at the English Market. It has a parent restaurant in Middleton, East Cork also and derives much of its excellent fresh produce from that area. Very popular and usually crowded.
