We went into this restaurant opposite a very busy theatre showing a pantomime. An oasis of calm and what then became a wonderful experience. The lovely ladies could not have been more attentive and helpful. The food soon appeared and it was hot and well presented. The crab crumble is a must!! If you have any further appetite to fill... This restaurant serves really delicious food. The prawn starter was really good as was its large size, followed that with the sirloin steak and I had a very nice meal indeed. The service was very good too in this atmospheric restaurant. Will certainly be back!

We have visited many times and Isaacs has a good reputation. Prawns in provencale sauce good. For the seafood chowder, please revert to more fish and less potatoe cubes. Some staff untrained.

Our server for the evening clearly wanted to be anywhere but there & by the end of the evening I felt exactly the same. Waitress was dismissive, verging on rude? Most uncomfortable seats ever, definitely not designed to encourage you to stay too long. Chowder was tasty, chicken salad with smoked pancetta was average, market platter (tapas style dish) was... Thanks to the company where I work I was given the opportunity to come to enjoy Lunch to this restaurant last years several times and I love it. Now returning with couple of friends on dinner time. It is good value for money in my opinion for the quality of food and service provided. Isaacs has already the reputation for... More

We frequent Issac's and to be fair there was never an occasion that we could say that we were ever disappointed. This evening we visited & one of the party could not find anything they really liked & the waiter suggested one of the dishes prepared in a different, simple fashion. I would suggest the stake it was amazing &... More

Lovely food. Nice and cosy setting (don't forget the beautiful waterfall out the back!!! A must see!) Not too long a wait for food. They serve bread and butter as you wait. The bread is lovely. We had a 3 course meal and perhaps overate... The portions are pretty large. Taste was nice. I'd say a 4 is a good... More

Isacc's is located just a 5 minute walk from the city centre. Had an amazing meal here recently. The atmosphere is excellent and I would recommend you make a reservation to ensure you get a table. Yvonne our waitress really looked after us. She was attentive and pleasant. The restaurant is always full which to me is always a good... More
