Stopped here for dinner and we all had fish and chips. The haddock was very good and the cod got the thumbs up too. Chips were fresh and not greasy. Lovely clean restaurant and the staff were very helpful and polite. Well worth a visit.

Used by chance as the Brewers Fayre was an utter disaster. Actually turned out really well - beautifully cooked fresh fish and a nice glass of wine. Limited menu but no complaints and exceeded expectations.

As a group we went in for our lunch, BUT NEVER AGAIN, we ordered the lunchtime special fish from the advertising board. We had our lunch and i then noticed we were overcharged. I spoke to Lawrence (the owner) who couldn't have cared less and...More

Be wary of being overcharged! We ordered the fish tea special for 3 @ £6.50 each but were charged @ £9.50 each. I spoke to Lawrence the owner who says he served me the £9.50 fish. I have no way of knowing what fish he...More

In terms of chip shops, this place is hard to beat. Jaconellis produce the best battered fish I’ve ever had! There’s even a good selection of species to choose from. Everything else on the menu that I’ve tried has been excellent too, but the fish...More

Having had to spend a week at the Premier Inn the difference between the Brewers Fair restaurant was significant. Whilst service at Brewers Fair was poor here it was great. Staff were so attentive and the food was good as well.

As this is close to the Premier Inn it’s a good alternative to their pub/restaurant. Some reviews say it is too expensive but unlike other fish and chip shops, the portion of fish is bigger than the portion of chips. The fish was crisp, besides...More

Cannot understand why locals complain that the prices aren’t the same as a local chippy. Of course they aren’t. Jaconelli’s offers a much higher-end product, nicer restaurant and MUCH tastier food than a normal chip shop. Definately worth paying extra for.
